Park Place Global Transportation Services has your safety in
mind. From choosing the right vehicles for client transportation, to
hiring quality chauffeurs. You can be sure we take safety seriously.
When we buy our vehicles, we demand documentation from the manufacturer
proving they build vehicles that are in compliance with federal highway
safety administration guidelines.
We have inspections every 3 months in-house or by an independent inspector.
Every 6 months we have NYS DOT come to an independent location for a thorough safety inspection.
Before our chauffeurs leave for a job, they do a thorough safety
inspection of their vehicle. Starting with an exterior walk around,
then an under the hood inspection, and finally an interior inspection.
When vehicles are returned, a report is made to the manager on
duty of any safety issues that have surfaced during the job.
We park our vehicles indoors on an epoxy floor to spot leaks before they become a safety issue.
Our CDL vehicles are equipped with safety equipment and tools, such as fire extinguishers, flares, and first aid kits.
All of our vehicles have more than one exit in case of an emergency.
We stock many parts on our shelves to insure timely repairs of most critical items.
Potential CDL chauffeurs are required to request their driving record
from the DMV and submit it with their application. Background checks
are done, followed by two interviews; road tests, written test, and a
review of their driving record are completed every year. Every three
years these records are submitted to the NYS DMV for chauffeur
qualification review. Any infraction may result in time off
without pay, dismissal, suspension of license, or even loss of license.
NYS requires a minimum of 1 million dollars of liability insurance. We
have always felt this number was not in the best interest of our
clients. Minimum coverage of 1 million dollars is not adequate for our
clients and is unsafe. We carry enough liability insurance to protect
our clients and their guests.
We limit the number of hours our chauffeurs are allowed to drive each week and each day.
We installed Drivecams in each vehicle to monitor chauffeur driving
habits. We regularly review a chauffeur’s driving habits and make
evaluations for areas that could use improvement for customer
comfort and safety.
We installed GPS tracking units in every vehicle to monitor where our
cars are at all times. This is handy to dispatch cars in the shortest
amount of time, but during proms and birthday parties when a parent
calls and needs to know where their child is now, it’s priceless.
We installed flight tracking software to monitor airline flights down
to the minute. Our software tracks the FAA transponder on your
aircraft. No one will ever have to worry about being stranded at any
airport in any weather ever again.
Our fleet has vehicles prepared to deal with any kind of harsh weather.
When you absolutely, positively, have to get there, we will get you
there safe and on time.
As you can see, minimum government safety standards are ok for our
competitors, but it’s not ok for Park Place. Every year advances in
safety are developed. And we want to be on top of these advances. We
attend many transportation conferences to learn of the latest
improvements and advances in technology and bring them home to our
customers.
Does your present transportation provider take these extra steps to insure your safety?
